A little while later, his mom shows up ( I say hi to her), and the kid takes her car, while she waits for the tow truck. A few moments later, a guy comes walking up,...you could clearly see he had parked and decided he needed to do a good deed, or an act of kindness,or to be a good samaritan, etc.
He starts talking to the mom and asks her if he can help push the car out of traffic. She reluctantly agrees, even though there's nowhere to go with it. And now I'm feeling obliged to help push the car even though there's no better place for it to be. But the guy thinks it would be better off trying to push it up the driveway into the nearby store parking lot, even though there's no empty space for it and will make it more difficult for the tow truck. I know better than to argue with this kind of guy. He's got his mind made up that something must be done. He's intent on being a "good samaritan" even if it makes things worse.
And so,ust as they're about ready to start pushing the car,and I'm about to say,"do u need help?", the tow truck arrives, and is able to hook up the car right where it is,the most convenient spot for the tow truck. But the point is that sometimes the "best help" for people is to leave it AS IS,rather than make things worse, no matter how much you want to be a "good Christian" or "nice guy" etc. The car was okay where it was even if a bit of inconvenience for others. Just wait patiently for the tow truck,as is.
